Due to an increase in the number of young professionals choosing to rent property opposed to buying, landlords are under increased pressure to provide quality accommodation for potential tenants.
The buy to let market has become massively competitive over the last few years. Young professionals who opt to rent their homes are expecting more out of a potential property, with modern amenities and above par décor as standard.
Landlords are now forced to source additional finance in order to furnish their properties to a higher standard for fear of their assets becoming stagnant and unattractive. The rental market in the UK is formed predominantly from young professionals with high levels of income who will not settle for second best.
The number of new properties being constructed throughout the country is said to be the main reason for the change in trend, and is fuelling growth in the buy to let market.
